Golden Tiger Lane – A Gift from the Class of 1975 will serve as a reminder for generations to come of the impact that the Class of ’75 had on Clemson’s campus. The brick path, located at the rear of the Nieri Alumni and Visitors Center, overlooks the 18th green. Prospective students and returning alumni will be welcomed by this class gift.

Tom and Karen Chapman’s gift of $4M, which was Clemson’s first Academic Cornerstone Gift, establishes an endowment for the Chapman Leadership Scholars program and creates the Thomas F. Chapman ’65 Distinguished Professorship in Leadership. The program cultivates leadership in selected students from every college through a three-year curriculum focused on intellect, courage and compassion. Their ongoing support aims to empower future leaders and advance Clemson’s mission of academic excellence and community impact.

Dave and Lynette Snow’s $25 million gift to Clemson University enhances the newly named Snow Institute for the Study of Capitalism. This historic donation will double the Lyceum Scholars Program, double the scholarship for current and future scholars, and fund new initiatives like the American Founding Project and Capitalism Unleashed Project. Dave and Lynette are former Clemson parents who were named honorary alumni in 2022. Their previous gifts have supported the Snow Family Outdoor Fitness and Wellness Complex.

Clemson University’s College of Business received a $60 million donation from Wilbur O. “Billy” and Ann Powers, marking the largest academic gift in University history. The donation funds professorships, scholarships, and facility upgrades at the newly named Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business. This contribution aims to bolster Clemson’s reputation as a leader in business education, enhancing programs in business analytics, entrepreneurship and leadership to prepare students as global business leaders.

Mark Richardson ’83 and Kathryn Richardson’s $10 million gift, coupled with a matching scholarship challenge, has transformed access to education for current and future Clemson students. By matching contributions from the Clemson community, the Richardson’s Challenge, Champions 4 Access to Education, raised an additional $4 million for unrestricted scholarship endowments. The rest of their transformational gift supported Emerging Scholars, the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business and the College of Education through the ClemsonLIFE and Call Me MISTER programs.
