Fermin - Physics - Class of ’25

Fermin Redondo has always been interested in physics and math, and with Clemson’s STEM connections, it was the obvious choice. He’s participated in groundbreaking physics research in Steve Kaeppler’s lab, developing an atmospheric probe launched on a rocket from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. He has also presented his findings internationally at the European Space Agency conference.

Emily - Special Education - Class of ’26

Emily Estep is passionate about education and grateful for the expert faculty at Clemson, who have given her the tools she needs to manage her own classroom one day. She’s a leader and a pioneer in her own right. In Teaching Fellows, she began a Lunch and Learn program. She serves her community through Alpha Phi Omega. And she has taken extra classes at Columbia College on cultural competency and speech pathology.

Will - Financial Management, Marketing - Class of ’27

Will McPhail found his place at Clemson in the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business. He’s a member of multiple Signature Programs, recruiting for the College and the J. Daniel and Nancy Garrison Sales Innovation Program and leading the Sales Team in competitions. Through his involvement, Will has found his people at Clemson and tries to add value to everything he’s a part of.

Kwame - Computer Science - Class of ’25

Kwame Andre is a member of the first cohort of the Breakthrough Scholars Program in the Clemson University Honors College. He is driven to find solutions that improve others’ lives through computer science. Through internships, Creative Inquiry projects and a summer of research at the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York, he’s found his path to improving technology to benefit communities.
