Elizabeth - Genetics - Class of '25
Elizabeth Caldwell valued Clemson’s high-caliber education and research opportunities. As a first-year student, she gained immediate access to a professor’s research lab. Elizabeth, a student with a disability, found Clemson to be a supportive environment.
Madelyn - Landscape Architecture - Class of '23
Madelyn Stafford embraced opportunities at Clemson to step out of her comfort zone. From leadership programs to internships and studying abroad, Madelyn made the most of her experience. She credited her professors with helping her discover her passion.
Cammy - Psychology - Class of '21
Cammy Pereira, a transfer student and softball player, found acceptance at Clemson. This inspired her LGBTQ advocacy in Clemson Athletics. Through internships and Athlete Ally, Cammy promoted diversity and inclusion on campus.
Calhoun Courts
Home to first-year and continuing students, Calhoun Courts is an apartment community in a great location beside the Barnes Center and across from Bryan Mall and the Hendrix Student Center. These two-bedroom apartments house four people each with spacious living rooms and kitchens. Community amenities include volleyball and basketball courts, laundry and vending machines, and a commons building with a large social room.

Benet Hall is part of the Shoebox community, which is your best choice for affordable residence halls packed with features. With easy access to dining, recreation, Death Valley and West Campus classes, the location is one of the best on campus. The Shoeboxes allow for close-knit communities with only 140 students in each building and great common space. There are recreation areas between the buildings and lounges throughout the halls. Each room features a sink and walk-in closets.
Christian - Wildlife Biology - Class of '24
Christian Blackburn, a National Scholar, dedicated himself to sustainability and service. Through the Clemson University Honors College and community outreach, he contributed to campus and its surroundings. His experiences reinforced his commitment to creating positive impact.
Roberto - Marketing - Class of '25
Roberto Cortes discovered his passion for marketing at Clemson. Through Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity and the student-led brand agency, Cadency, he gained experience with real clients. These opportunities solidified his career path in advertising and brand communication.

Aundrea Gibbons pursued a double major in philosophy and communications. Through Greek Life and internships, she discovered her passion for broadcast journalism, aiming to inform people and change perspectives.
